She captures her subject's fundamental qualities with a keen eye and deft hand, preserving its immediate vitality. Bee’s irrepressible love for the subject matter and for the act of painting itself warms the painting from the inside out. She approaches each new canvas with glee, as if she is approaching an old friend - and in fact she is doing just that. By the time a painting is finshed, Bee has made dear friends with it.
